Initial Report: Train Derailment near Sanborn, CA (Mojave Subdivision)

On Sunday, February 20, 2022 at approximately 04:45 p.m. CDT, we received a preliminary report of a train derailment in Sanborn, CA which has affected the main track. Sanborn, CA is approximately 70 miles southeast of Bakersfield, CA. BNSF field personnel are responding to assess the derailment site. The time for opening the main track has not been determined at this time.
