All Units Available for Immediate Pick-up at BNSF’s Logistics Park Chicago

As a result of improved out-gate activity and other BNSF efficiency initiatives, all intermodal freight (including Lot W) is now available for immediate driver pick-up at Logistics Park Chicago (LPC).

As previously announced in May of this year, containers stacked in Lot W had to be moved to Lot S before dray providers were notified that they were available for pick-up. Thanks to greater coordination among supply chain partners, operations have normalized at LPC, allowing us to provide immediate access to all containers. We are confident this will help deliver improved driver turn times and greater productivity at LPC.
